The Interface

Dagon interface

Dagon pulls the painful parts down without flattening the track. Resonances, harsh notes, and runaway level spikes are detected in context, then reduced with transparent spectral control that keeps the musical shape intact.

01 · Smart Suppression

Resonance Control That Follows The Source

Smart mode detects relative spectral prominence instead of chasing raw input level. Quiet tracks and loud tracks get consistent resonance reduction, so you can set the amount musically and keep moving.

Level Independent

Smart mode reacts to prominence, not just volume. A harsh ring is treated as a harsh ring whether the channel is quiet or loud.

One Amount Control

The main threshold becomes AMOUNT in Smart mode, giving you a simpler musical control over how much cleanup Dagon applies.

Transparent By Design

Reduction follows the spectrum instead of clamping the whole signal, preserving tone, movement, and transient shape.

Fast To Set

Drop it on a vocal, drum bus, synth, or full loop and push until the harshness steps back. No deep setup required.

02 · Focus

Broad Or Surgical

Focus controls spectral selectivity without changing the feel of the plugin. Low values are wider and smoother. High values are narrower and more surgical, locking onto the exact resonant areas that need to move.

Smooth Cleanup

Lower Focus values soften wider tonal areas for natural broadband cleanup on loops, buses, and full-range sources.

Narrow Suppression

Higher Focus values concentrate reduction around sharper resonances, perfect for whistles, harsh notes, or metallic ringing.

Attack Included

Attack controls how quickly Dagon enters suppression, so resonance onset can be gentle or immediate depending on the source.

Release That Breathes

Release shapes how the reduction lets go. Fast for tight repair, slower for invisible movement.

03 · Five Modes

Choose The Kind Of Control

Dagon is not locked to one style of suppression. Move from classic resonance control to softer perceptual cleanup, volume ducking, or Smart mode when you want the plugin to decide from musical context.

Dagon five control modes

Resonance

The direct mode for reducing active resonant peaks while keeping the surrounding audio intact.

Soft & Perceptual

Transparent modes for smoother, more forgiving cleanup when you want Dagon to disappear into the source.

Volume

Level suppression for dynamic control when the issue is not only tone, but movement and overall energy.

Smart

Adaptive resonance control that detects relative prominence and gives you a single amount control for fast results.
